On Friday 8th October, we were extremely lucky to have African drumming workshops in school as part of our Black History Month celebrations.
We started off the day by having a KS2 assembly in the hall where we were treated to a mini concert from the performers. After this, each KS2 class had the opportunity to take part in a workshop where they tried out various African drums. We split into two groups and each learnt our own parts before piecing them back together for a final performance.
