This was our first actual School Games competition since the beginning of the pandemic and our y3/4 gymnastics squad had a fantastic time and did themselves proud. Class 6 provided the audience as well as the official School Games judge, who was there to score the children for their vaulting and floor routines. All of the children were understandably nervous, but the atmosphere amongst them was incredibly supportive, enabling them to perform as well as they could. The floor routines were very consistent and the vaults were really exciting, aided by the springboard to achieve extra height on the jumps. It was a great event to be a part of all round and we’re really proud of how well they all did, as well as the togetherness shown.
